"I made the first wish bowl as a gift for a friend. The word spiral was my way of wishing her all the best things in life....  
love, hope, peace, joy, wonder, wisdom, challenge, purpose, devotion, laughter, understanding, empathy and more.

People were intrigued by the idea and began calling to order bowls for  friends, relatives- themselves! 
Vermont Wish bowls began as a word of mouth business, that now allows me to do what I love.

* Wish bowls are made from Vermont's beautiful  hardwood trees- maple, butternut, walnut, cherry, ash. I painted them with water based acrylics and use a permanent drawing ink for the words. In some of the bowls, I may also use gold leaf and copper leaf, metallic paints and silver & gold inks. The 6" small bowls are made in Michigan.
* When dried I protect the painting with 3-5 coats (or more) of a non- toxic water based gloss urethane. click for more finish info

* An object of beauty, function and inspiration-  wish bowls are paintings that can be held and used. I include a gift card with care instructions with each bowl... More on bowl care...

To Clean: Wipe out with wet cloth and mild detergent.
To maintain and protect your bowl;
Do not put in dishwasher.
Do not use a knife in your bowl.
Metal utensils may scratch the finish. Use for cold foods only.
A gift card with care instructions is included with your bowl.

The finish is a water-based urethane. Non-toxic after dry.
Aids in alcohol, water, detergent, grease & sunlight resistance.
Environmentally Acceptable / Clean air compliant / Non harmful to ozone layer.

Delivery
Each bowl is unique and individually handcrafted. 
Some things cannot be rushed :)
Shipping averages 2-4 weeks.

RUSH ORDERS- accepted when I have time and can somehow fit them in .
Rush charges are 15. per bowl.  If necessary-   I use FedEx for Overnight or Two Day delivery.
I will email an invoice for any additional charges.
